In this video, I wanted to inspire people to live consciously and maybe ponder on this thing we call life. It’s easy to take many things for granted, while they’d certainly be experienced in a more pleasant manner if we just opened or minds and felt gratitude for some of what surrounds us.

The music of Spin Artes seemed perfect for this project as it has a transcendental quality to it, whilst also being entertaining to listen to (in my opinion). Ivan Chan’s art is beautiful to contemplate, and so the two help to invoke a positive, meditative atmosphere.

One further point to make is how I’ve endeavoured to keep the quotes in the movie ‘neutral’, so as to be suitable for sparking inspiration in people of varying philosophies. I don’t think that there’s just one path to ‘enlightenment’, and so it made sense to respect people’s views and to offer something which may inspire independent of spiritual beliefs or intimations.
