I'm writing an editorial column for my local paper and need some marching band/football quotes (i.e. "what's the football team doing on the marching field?") please help me!!!
When asked why our band didn't play more "fight songs" during the football games, our director told the superintendent "the band plays when the team scores. Maybe you should take that up with the coach." (The ball team didn't score one touchdown that season). I am now a band director, myself, and it is still one of my favorites.

I have been a Detroit Lions fan since childhood. A few days ago Matt Millen reported he is coming back. That's it. To quote Popeye: "I've had all's I can stand, and I can't stand's n'more!" I need to unattach myself from this team and find a team that cares about its fans. I'm not necessarily looking to jump on a bandwagon I just need to support a team that gives a damn. How does someone switch their loyalties to another team? Can it even really be done? Thanks for any help.

My summer swim team has been undefeated for 5 years straight and we always make t-shirts for the swimmers. This year is specaial because its our 5th year winning and its also the summer of the olympics. Any good slogans for the front of the shirt?
